Storms and silver linings

Hands clap to ears to stop head from spinning... And hope it's facing forward!

That's how the last few weeks have been. I even had a 9 day vacation, but it wasn't a vacation, it was more head spinning! Juggling! Problem solving! Sleep depriving!

Where's my REAL vacation?

Daughter has moved in with cat; does not get along with resident cat or man. Ex husband is throwing a fit about taking cat back. New puppy has moved in this week too. 8 week old TERROR. Oh, I meant terrier. Min Pin. Might as well been an 8 week old baby. And, amongst this craziness, I am still working on my 30 day stuff... Trying to appease everyone, and have no car. Hubbawah?

But in the middle of this maelstrom, I am seeing the light. I did indeed complete my 30 days of watching The Secret, and I've been seeing results.

My desire for hot yoga yielded me a studio close enough to me that offers- get this- $5 hot yoga classes. It didn't show up when I researched studios last year... and then boom, there it was a couple of weeks ago when I searched again. I also found a studio that offers ashtanga that is also kinda near me, which also didn't show up in my first search last year.

My desire for a puppy(and I even had a picture of one I liked on my desktop)yielded a rescue puppy that actually looks a lot like the dog in the picture. And for a price we could handle. No work on our part; found for us by others!

My desire to figure out what I should be doing for work landed me an out of the blue photo gig that paid well, and may lead to future assignments, also found for me by someone else. A photographer came into the shop the other day, and may turn into a good contact. Plus, the company I worked for last fall contacted me to see if I'd work for them again this fall.

My need for a new car yielded an unexpected call from a friend offering me their car. A price I can afford, and considering the year, good mileage and condition.

My desire for a Jeep hasn't gotten me one yet; but it has brought them out of the woodwork... they are EVERYWHERE. They follow me, pass me at lights, sometimes three at a time. I believe that soon enough the one I see parked in my driveway will be mine!
