What a hard weekend! Drove down to Long Island Saturday night for a photo shoot on Sunday. Got stuck in traffic, rear ended, then broke down 20 minutes away from my destination! Two tow trucks and four hours later (thankfully had a friend to help and pass the time) and I was finally at my friends (1 am!) and able to go to sleep, but with a 6am alarm. :( And then the job was long, hot and dirty. Was able to get my car, which cost $425 to fix, get some beers with another good friend, and then go home finally. I was BEAT. But what a nice welcome home from the S.O. :)
Tonight I present a web design proposal for the Historical Society in town. It's a small project, and I anticipate doing updates for free. All they have at the moment is a two year old blog with no activity, and not even the address of the museum listed! I shall remedy all of this. Or at least try to talk them into letting me remedy this! I shall report tonight on how that goes.
Still working on the illustration for the top of this blog. I've changed the idea a little. There were going to be octopus elements, and I've decided against it.
I've found another site like iStock.com. It's called Veer.com. As I explore it, I'll find out if it's the same, better or not as good. Then I'll report!
Ok, now it's on to trying to find my wacom pen. I've misplaced it, and if I can't find it, I'm going to be a mess.....
